With over 20 years in the music scene, seasoned musicians Johnny Burkhead, Scott Rodenburg and Ken Kundratic make up Maryland-based Alternative Rock n Roll group Between Daze. Just in time for summer, their first release of 2024 is the classic rock tune “I Might”.
The track is reminiscent of classic rock bands of the ‘80s and ‘90s, with vocals that dance playfully over the driving rhythm and crunchy guitar riffs. It is a shoe-tapping anthem that just makes you want to dance (or sing!). The track seems to be a call to sing to deal with hard-hitting emotions, with verses that describe a failing relationship that are met with the playful chorus of “I/ I might/ I might sing”, filtering into simplistic repetition of the chorus “I might” towards the end to really drive the song to a close.
With silky guitar riffs and driving drums, Between Daze prove that Rock is still alive and kicking!
