Over the past few months Adam + Attack By Fire have been consistently releasing a series of singles, and two months after their last track, the bass heavy “Trashy Samurai Blues”, they have released their latest single “Perennial Invader". The Beatlesque track offers an insight into the diversity of the band’s songwriting, as it differs in style from this year’s previous releases, trading in the high-energy tunes for a slower ballad about missing a loved one.
The track starts off with the main focus of a piano and a simple drum beat accompanied with sombre and heartfelt vocals that sing a song of longing. As the song progresses we have an additional machine like percussion that seems to have become a signature throughout the band’s latest singles, which gives the track a more modern feel.
Adam + Attack By Fire’s multifaceted discography is shaping them up to be one of the most diverse acts of 2024.
