‘In the End It Always Does’ is the second studio album from The Japanese House, released in 2023, four years after her debut album ‘Good at Falling’, which was released in 2019 (personally I think it was definitely worth the wait).

The album is an indie shoegaze alt-pop album that focuses on themes of heartbreak and the break down of relationships, with most of the tracks being set with bright and bubbly production.

As the title indicates, the album serves as  a representation of the cyclic nature of fleeting relationships.
This album has stayed in my regular rotation since its release. The songs are all so different from each other but work together so well!
